A Good Life Home Care is proud to be a GAPP Certified Agency. Through the Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP), a Medicaid initiative, we deliver essential services to children with Intellectual/Developmental and Medically Fragile needs, which include Skilled Nursing Services and Behavior Support Services.
Skilled Nursing Services
Our licensed nurses provide quality service through skilled nursing services, ensuring compassionate care for diagnoses such as spinal bifida, cerebral palsy, hydrocephalus, TBI (traumatic brain injury), quadriplegic conditions, paraplegic conditions, autosomal deletion, chromosomal abnormalities, Angelman syndrome, Rett syndrome, and support for those who are wheelchair bound. Additionally, our Georgia pediatric program offers specialized behavior support services to address the unique needs of our patients.
Unskilled Nursing Service
Our skilled CNAs, PCAs, and caregivers provide quality service that aligns with the Georgia Pediatric Program by assisting with daily living functions at home. This includes essential tasks such as grooming, bathing & dressing, and light housekeeping. Our dedicated team also offers meal preparation, emotional support, and encouragement to help individuals carry out necessary activities. Furthermore, we provide mobility assistance, ensuring children can move in and out of bed, chairs, or wheelchairs with ease. We continuously monitor and report any changes in health, behavior, and needs, while also engaging clients in stimulating arts & crafts and other activities. Our commitment to delivering effective Behavior Support Services ensures that each child's well-being and development are prioritized alongside our skilled nursing services.
Behavior Support Services
Behavior Support Services, which include Behavior Management Interventions and Stabilization Services, are vital in home or community settings throughout Georgia, especially within the Georgia Pediatric Program. These services aim to teach and reinforce behavioral goals through effective training and direct support. By integrating learning from systemic interventions and strategies, they help individuals manage challenging behaviors that affect daily living activities, social interactions, work, or similar circumstances.
